Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Yep, you read the title right.

Abraham Lincoln, before he was our 16th president and portrayed by DDL, was a hunter of vampires. He had hunted them ever since they killed his mother when he was young. He had exacted revenge against the vampires. He teams up with another hunter and set off to murder all vampires.

The film is of course very silly and cheesy. There's a lot of slow motion effects with the vampires getting decapitated and killed. It got irritating after a while, as it seemed that that was the only way the kills could have been done with slo-mo effects.

The acting's alright for the most part. Benjamin Walker fits the role of a epic Lincoln. He's just using his axe, flipping it around and cutting vampires in half. He was pretty awesome. Dominic Cooper as the hunter who takes Lincoln under his wing and trains him to hunt down vamps. He was pretty good as well.

Some of the problems with the film was that it was very slow-paced for some moments, and way too much slow motion effects.

But overall, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was a very entertaining ride. Sure, it was over-the-top and ridiculous because its not actual facts, but the execution was fun.  Sadly, though with the pacing, its not exactly 3 stars, but if you want a good time, check it out.

Nikola Peltz in Transformers 4? Epic Fail!!

As some of you all know, I'm not very fond of the Transformers films. I thought the first one was too atrocious, and the second one was just a disaster. I did, however, think Dark of the Moon was alright.

There is a fine line between when you can and cannot get away with something as preposterous as casting a young actress as the leading role. And I think Michael Bay has taken the cake with this one, as he has casted Nikola Peltz as the female lead in Transformers 4.

Nikola Peltz, as you know, was in The Last Airbender, my least favorite film of 2010.

This is a horrible idea. Why would you cast Peltz? Maybe with Transformers 4, she could have a better script for the film. The reason she wasn't good in TLA was based on the script, which was awful to say the least.

Hey, I mean could be worse. I mean at least we don't have Fox casted in another Bay film, like say as April O' Neal, with the premise about Alien Turtles, right?
